**The Role**
The College is seeking to appoint a
**Term 2 Cover for a Secondary Teacher - Humanities** who is committed to delivering quality learning experiences that see students achieve their personal best. This role will involve teaching Years 7 - 10 and coaching a team in the weekly external sport competition. This contract is a Term 2 cover only and a full-time teaching load.
All teaching staff at Coomera Anglican College are expected to take part in the whole life of the College, including participation and involvement in pastoral care, religious and values education, camps, sport, cocurricular activities and special event days.
**To be successful, you will**:
- Be passionate about and have experience in teaching Humanities to Junior and Senior Secondary students (Yrs 7-10)
- Be able to differentiate to cater for the individual needs of your students and deliver a high-quality learning experience
- Demonstrate contemporary teaching and learning pedagogies
- Incorporate digital technologies into effective teaching and learning
- Demonstrate a sound knowledge of the Australian Curriculum
- Be able to effectively communicate and build relationships with students, parents, colleagues and the broader College community
