Our client based in the Maitland area specializes in the Sales, Inspection, Testing and Repair of Lifting/ Rigging, Heights Safety and Load Restraint Equipment and is seeking a highly motivated Individual to join their team.

This role would suit you if you have a keen eye for detail, have a technical mind, are handy and willing to spend time across workshop, and sites including construction, rail, mining to name a few.

This role will commence in the Maitland based workshop where you will learn all about the product, develop knowledge of the technical specifications and Australian standards before progressing into a site base technician servicing Central Coast, Hunter and New England regions. Some overnight travel approx 5 nights per month will form part of the role.

Duties include:

- Stock supply
- Assembly repairs
- Workflow processes
- Wire rope manufacturing reels - various configurations
- Understanding bay allocation of supplies
- Load testing capabilities of synthetic slings, chain slings, crane ropes and lock mechanisms, shackle links
- Use of hand, power tools and workshop machinery & equipment
- Site inspections of equipment, site repairs and minor maintenance
- Deliveries to clients as required
