Draftsperson

Experience with Autocad preferred. Revit/Sketchup will be a bonus as we are transferring to REVIT in the near future.

A sound level of ability with the MS suite required.

The design work we undertake is primarily residential however commercial work is undertaken from time to time.

Interface with Clients will be limited initially although the role will evolve to include this if suitable. This may include; site measuring existing structures/dwellings, discussing/reviewing a Client's design/needs, being present at the office to attend to walk-in Clients etc.

Responsibilities will include:

- Developing concept, DA/planning and Working drawings from hand sketches and/or preliminary.DWG files. With input from Management as required.
- Ad hoc changes/amendments/updates to existing.DWG files.
- Site measure assistance.
- Assistance with updating and continuous improvement of the Drafting templates/standards.
- Attend online or in person WIP (Work in progress) meetings on a regular basis as well as meetings (online, in person, phone) required to keep the projects on track and to the required standard.
- Manage your time well and give feedback on taskings to ensure deliverables are to the required standard and on time.
- Assist in tracking time worked on projects to ensure projects are profitable and delivered as promised.
- Ad hoc admin tasks. Not a primary role however may be required to get the job done from time to time.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 25 - 38 per week

**Salary**: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
