Clothing Trades Workers/Dressmaker required immediately at RJ Curtains and Blinds Pty Ltd,VIC.

**Salary**: Between 60K to 85K plus superannuation depends on skills and experience

**The Opportunity**We are currently seeking an experienced, professional and qualified Clothing Trades Workers to join our RJ Curtains and Blinds Pty Ltd in VIC on a Full-Time basis. You will be responsible as a Dressmaker and Clothing Trades Worker encompass a wide range of tasks related to the creation, alteration, and customization of garments. This includes constructing garments from scratch using fabric, patterns, and sewing machines. I cut fabric pieces according to patterns, sew them together, and add necessary details like zippers, buttons, and fasteners. Pattern making is one of the core responsibilities.

**Other tasks may include**:
1. Excel in creating and modifying garment patterns.2. Take accurate measurements, draft patterns on paper or using computer software, and ensuring the patterns are precise and tailored to fit well.3. Perform garment alterations and repairs. Handle tasks such as shortening or lengthening hems, adjusting waistbands, taking in or letting out seams, replacing buttons, and mending tears or damages.4.Fittings and tailoring are essential parts of your duties.5. Possess expertise in adding customizations and embellishments to garments.6. Intricate embroidery, beading, lacework, appliqué, or other decorative techniques based on clients' preferences and design requirements.7. Providing guidance to clients in fabric selection is another important aspect of the role.8. Quality control is a priority for us. ensure the high quality of finished garments by conducting thorough check.9. Equipment maintenance is your responsibility. Take care of maintaining and troubleshooting sewing machines, tools, and equipment used in garment construction.10. Regular cleaning, oiling, and minor repairs are part of your routine to ensure the equipment remains in optimal working condition
