CPL Toowoomba are now looking for a dedicated and innovative day program team leader / Program Facilitator to continuously develop and implement flexible, inclusive and meaningful programs that support all of our clients in reaching their goals.

In this dynamic role, no day will be the same. You may be developing music and art programs for our clients to follow their artistic and creative endeavours; organising and delivering a cooking class or enterprising social networks and communities for our clients to access.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Work with the Area Manager to ensure that centre-based programs are appropriately resourced, scheduled and facilitated.
- Be the key contact for clients and staff for day-to-day program operation.
- Ensure that clients involved in programs have ongoing opportunities to develop their interests, skills and talents.
- Liaise with community groups, organisations and individuals to ensure clients are participating and active members in their local community.
- Maintain a safe working environment for all.
- Provide personal care, hygiene assistance as required.
- Reporting as required.
- Provide guidance, support and training to staff, volunteers and clients as required.

**Selection criteria includes**:

- Relevant qualifications and/or extensive equivalent experience in the area of provision of services to people with a disability.
- Demonstrated skills in the development and implementation of flexible, innovative centre based day programs.
- High level of understanding on group dynamics with effective strategies to develop effective teams.
- High level communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment _or willingness to obtain._
- Knowledge of and alignment with the philosophy and objectives of all relevant legislative requirements.
- Ability to keep accurate records and prepare reports.
- Ability to exercise judgement, initiative and problem-solving skills within defined guidelines.
- Ability to monitor, support and supervise staff.
- NDIS clearance and blue card required to start.
- COVID-19 Full vaccination.
