At MFG our people are the power behind everything we do, and we are always looking for better ways to improve our services and products. As our Finance team grows, we have a newly created opening for an Inventory Specialist within our Tax, Treasury and Risk team.

**More About The Role**:
Reporting to the Head of Tax, Treasury and Risk you will work with an inclusive and collaborative team to actively promote and implement risk management policies and procedures, monitor stock inventory levels to identify theft or shortages and investigates suspicious customer and/or employee activity in relation to stock loss.
What your day will look like;
**The Inventory Specialist is responsible for**:

- Maintaining stock integrity across the business by identifying, recommending and implementing systems
- Prevent and manage store risk through the completion of stock loss management tasks, completion of audits, analysis of shrinkage trends and required reporting
- Monitors stock inventory
- Actively promote and implement risk management policies and procedures and investigate possible breaches and non-adherence to store compliance
- Collaborate and work in conjunction with the store team to prepare, implement and investigate stock takes
- Providing meaningful and actionable analysis and insights to the business to drive performance and achieve strategic objectives

More about You
- You will have proven organisational skills with the analytical ability to problem-solve, multi-task, and prioritise effectively
- Ideally have Tertiary qualifications in Logistics, Finance or IT
- Demonstrated knowledge surrounding general retail, supply chain, and Inventory/Stock Management.
- Have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a retail environment.
- History using ERP, WMS, OMS, and POS Systems
- Previous experience in implementing RFID or stocktake processes
- Have experience and the ability to identify issues and effectively resolve
- Proven experience in organising, manipulating, and analysing large and complex data sets to transform them into relevant and accessible information
- Exceptional ability to manage multiple projects and able to multi-task while meeting deadlines; Strong stakeholder management capability with the ability to work collaboratively with and influence diverse groups of people; and
- Intermediate
- advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
