**About the Role**

As a valued team member, you will be responsible for:

- Operation of studio cameras (Blackmagic),
- Lighting of talent for broadcast video,
- Operation of sound recording equipment,
- Operation of Vision Mixer/Live Switchers,
- Uploading & distributing digital media and live broadcast content,
- Recording 1-on-1 Video Interviews, both in-person and remotely over Zoom,
- Editing video quickly (Less than 1 hour turnaround times) and
- Correcting audio and colour for video.

**What You'll Need**

You’ll enjoy a fast-paced, newsroom environment and have experience managing several projects simultaneously, while delivering content quickly and to a high standard.

You will have experience in a studio environment, setting up cameras, lighting and operating sound equipment. Ideally, you’ll have experience as a news editor or in a similar role and be interested in business news.

You will be focused on the final product and be comfortable editing a daily program from start to finish, be willing to learn and will enjoy working closely with other team members. You will also have the ability to ensure the client experience is exceptional.

Other necessities include:

- Experience with the Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition),
- Experience with both studio and mirrorless cameras (Blackmagic, Panasonic),
- A creative flair and an eye for framing,
- On-location filming and live-streaming experience,
- Willingness to learn and
- A positive attitude.
