**Project Officer, 12 month Temporary, Sydney**

An exciting opportunity has become available for an individual to join the workplace services team at the Department of Customer Service.? You will manage and coordinate the development, implementation and evaluation of complex projects to achieve project outcomes and support the achievement or organisational objectives.
- 12 month Temporary opportunity
- Clerk Grade 7/8: $101,947 - $112,849 + 10.5% Super
- Based in Sydney CBD + Hybrid working options available

A key focus will be to manage contractor performance, including managing and coordinating the organisation's list of preferred principal contractors and nominated subcontractors on a statewide basis. In addition you will also manage the design and co-ordination issues on site with our client and contractors.

As a natural leader, you will lead and manage a project team, including internal and external project members, to deliver all key project milestones and outcomes. You will provide expert advice and information to the program manager on emerging project issues and present recommendations to support project delivery in line with established plans, budgets, timeframes and other project priorities.??

This role requires travel within regional NSW and work outside regular working hours.

**To be successful in this role you will demonstrate**:

- Project management experience with fit-out coordination/management (Client & Contractor)
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of end-to-end project delivery with emphasis on procurement,?contract administration & construction management.?
- Experience in managing tendering procedures and overseeing construction contractors.
- Flexible and innovative in problem solving
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in project management or equivalent?

Salary Grade 7/8, with the base salary for this role starting at $101947 base plus superannuation
