An excellent opportunity exists for suitably qualified individuals to join the REX Group as a full-time B1 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME).

Positions are available at our base in Tullamarine, Melbourne.

**Reporting**:
This position reports to the Line Maintenance Supervisor.

**Position Responsibilities**:

- Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities on Regional Express Group aircraft and aircraft components within a maintenance team.
- Ensure all maintenance and repairs are carried out to a high standard, ensuring integrity and robustness of aircraft to meet operational requirements?
- Service and clean hangar, tools and ground equipment
- Participate in aircraft recovery when necessary
- Observe all standards and procedures contained within Civil Aviation Safety Authority regulations, as well as individual aircraft systems maintenance.

**Essential Selection Criteria**:

- A demonstrated ability to perform aircraft and component maintenance, modification and troubleshooting in accordance with regulatory requirements, under mínimal supervision and to strict deadlines.
- A valid driver’s licence
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
- A high level of motivation with a team-focused work ethic
- Flexibility with working hours
- Meet the necessary requirements to hold an Aviation Security Identity Card and Airside Driving Licence.

**Preferred Selection Criteria**:

- B1 Type rated licence
- SAAB 340 endorsed
- Experience on transport category aircraft
- Experience in Airline operations
- Lower Group aircraft rating
- Certificate 4 in training and assessment would be an added advantage.

Saab 340 Course will be available for suitably qualified applicants
