Our client is a large scale Oil and Gas organisation that both manufactures and plans a range of projects throughout Australia. There is a great deal of variety and scope of works throughout these projects, that of which is rarely seen by other organisations to this extent.

**More About This Role**
We have a new opportunity available for an experienced Project Scheduler to deliver scheduling service and planning assistance to a large up and coming gas and oil industrial project.
- **$40.00-$45.00** Per Hour + Penalties
- 38 hour week with some overtime available
- Office based role Monday to Friday (Flexible Work Hours)
- **Undertaking scheduling for a large oil & gas project**, working closely with the project manager, commercial manager and other teams.
- **Good work environment**, easy going and positive team culture
- 3-6 month casual period leading to permanent for the right person

This role will see you work alongside the Project Manager, stakeholders, to develop and deliver a scheduling capability. You will also assess project issues and, with the project manager and senior stakeholders, develop resolutions to the schedule to meet project goals and objectives.

A typical day will see you;
- Interface with the project team, clients, stakeholders, consultants, designers, subcontractors for management of the project program.
- **Update, detail and maintain the Master Schedule**, Baseline and Scenarios in MS Project taking into account the contract requirements and overall project strategy.
- **Review and oversee schedules** provided by Subcontractors and Interface Contractor's advising issues that might impact the project's completion date.
- **Support contract administration activities** including project change management (subcontractor claims, variation orders and dispute resolution).
- **Ensure all systems are administered correctly** and aligned to the requirements of the program

**About You**
- Proven skills in project planning, budgeting, estimating and cost control to meet customer expectations and project deadlines.
- Experience in the oil and gas industry or a similar environment, viewed highly.
- Ability to work unsupervised in a team environment.
- Strives for continuous improvement in service delivery
- **Must have previous project scheduler experience**, project admin or project planning
- **Must know how to use MS project as well as excel etc**
