**The Centre**
Mentone West is a light-filled and spacious centre with a range of exciting, resource-rich environments - including a recently refurbished outdoor space - the centre also has a creek bed, a water pump, a climbing forte, vegetable gardens, a pet rabbit and a range of age-specific ateliers. Located on Venice Street, close to public transport and with street parking, the community-minded Educators enjoy taking the kinder children out and about on regular excursions into the community. The children and Educators often collect vegetables from the gardens to add to the daily meals and use in cooking classes - if our pet rabbit doesn’t eat them all first There are endless opportunities to excel in your career at Guardian Mentone West.

**The Opportunity**
Working closely with your fellow Educators and Centre Manager, you will enjoy;
- Developing and maintaining meaningful relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the centre community.
- Developing and implementing an innovative early learning program reflective of current early years thinking and practice.
- Documenting and sharing with families in their children's learning and development.
- Actively contributing to the implementation and adoption of the Guardian Curriculum.
- Professional learning and development programs, career pathways, and a truly collaborative and inclusive learning environment.

**To be considered, you will have**:

- A completed Certificate III and/or Diploma in Children's Services (or working towards)
- Prior experience in long day-care
- Sound, practical working knowledge and implementation of the NQF and the EYLF
- Current Working with Children's Check.
