The objectives of the **Cleaning Services** at the **Hospital and Specified Health Facilities** is to provide all ACT health staff and their clients with an environment that is tidy and visually and hygienically clean at all times.

The outcomes of the Services are to:

- enhance the comfort and morale of the patients;
- maintain a clean and safe working environment for staff;
- maintain a microbiologically safe environment for patient care; and
- present an inviting environment for visitors and members of the public.

These services are to be undertaken with mínimal disruption to hospital routines or patients.

**Shifts We Can Offer**:

- Multiple Casual/Part-Time/ Full-Time Shifts
- Morning and Afternoon Shifts

**What You Will Be Doing**:

- Carrying out general cleaning within the site
- Operating cleaning machinery
- Adhering to all OH&S policies and procedures
- Maintenance of cleaning records and compliance standards
- Delivery of excellent customer service and positive communication to all customers

**Criteria**:

- Experience in cleaning operations; commercial
- Must be physically fit to meet cleaning duties.
- Professional presentation and customer service
- Comply with Canberra Health Services Screening and Vaccination policy
- Undergo a pre-employment National Police Check
- Must register under the Working with Vulnerable People Act 2011.
