**About you**:
**You will bring**:
We are seeking an experienced Geologist with highly developed and practical understanding of geological data gathering techniques. You will effectively plan geological investigations in a logical and economical manner to ensure engineering and geological risks are understood. You will be experienced in producing high quality written communications, technical reports, presentations, and other communications in a clear and logical manner. Your efficient and effective management of assigned project tasks, programs, and budgets, while monitoring and reporting on progress against forecasts, will ensure your success in this role. In addition, you will have:

- Degree in Applied Science (Geology) or other equivalent qualifications from a recognised tertiary institution
- Geotechnical and geological investigations and interpretation associated with large dams (2 to 5+ years)
- Class ‘C’ driver’s licence
- Effective management and co-ordination of external providers of geotechnical support to ensure project objectives are met in a technically sound and cost-effective manner
- Ability to think innovatively and adapt, as necessary, to resolve issues, ensure the management of project risks and opportunities, and negotiate successful project outcomes
- Work autonomously and/or as part of a small team
