The EDI team (based on the South Street Campus) provides strategic leadership, support, and advice across the university to embed impactful, best-practice equity, diversity, and inclusion principles across all areas. Your New Role

As members of the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion team, EDI Project Coordinators are supported to develop and drive relevant initiatives, projects and programs which support the implementation of Murdoch University’s Equity, Diversity and Inclusion sub-strategy.

Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD; 0.6FTE): This EDI Project Coordinator will primarily focus on Culturally and Linguistically Diverse cohorts (CALD) and will champion projects that enhance the inclusion and empowerment of culturally diverse groups within the university. Coordinating with community networks and advisory groups, the role will drive initiatives that celebrate and support the diverse cultural backgrounds of staff, students, and the broader community. Responsibilities encompass the coordination of projects tailored specifically for CALD communities, facilitating training opportunities to enhance intercultural competence, and actively identifying areas for improvement to foster the continual development of a culturally responsive and inclusive university environment.

Your key responsibilities will include Manage and coordinate projects that promote inclusion and empowerment for equity groups in higher education
- Analyze EDI data to set benchmarks, evaluate initiatives, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support EDI Advisory Groups by organizing meetings, preparing agendas, and delivering reports.
- Foster collaboration through a community of practice with stakeholders across the university.
- Oversee communication, marketing, and engagement strategies while maintaining compliance with legislation and university policies.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, representing the university’s commitment to equity and inclusion.

This Continuous, | Part time attracts a remuneration of $95,826 - $105,578 (pro rata) plus 17% employer superannuation contributions.
