Let’s talk about you:
As a Data & Insights Analyst, you are a strategic thought partner who will help drive informed decisions and strategies that enable the business to navigate change and maintain a competitive advantage in a dynamic market. You are responsible for providing analysis and insights that will inform our ANZ Sales and Operations Teams and enable them to drive growth and increase operational efficiency within our Australia business.

You love identifying and extracting data sets from internal and external sources and you are able to correlate them and uncover opportunities. As a steward of information, you summarize key findings and propose action plans and will be able to communicate the information effectively to our DTC (Direct to Consumer) teams. You will work closely with leaders across the ANZ Direct to Consumer (DTC) channel to measure and improve our ability to acquire, support and retain consumers. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Analyse product and commercial data to provide insight and performance updates to business leaders- Build dashboards and reports to understand business performance and incorporate the right metrics and data into business initiatives- Use your knowledge of quantitative analysis to tell the story behind the data to non-technical team members- Work closely with key stakeholders to analyse different data sources, identify issues and provide insights and solutions to create value either in dealing with our external customers or to improve inefficiencies in our internal processes.- Support transformational projects with data requirements and implement analytics tools/infrastructure as needed- Own the data across all our platforms, clean/dedupe/consolidate and stitch together multiple data sources, identify gaps and/or future data and information needs- Support the transition of our current data structures to something more user-friendly- Employ appropriate algorithms to discover data patterns. Use various tools and design approaches to validate findings and to test hypotheses- Stay up to date with the latest technical developments and share with the team

Let’s talk about qualifications and experience- Has 1- 2 years’ experience in data mining, data analysis and process documentation- Previous experience in SQL and Tableau- Has demonstrated success in designing, developing, or modifying business-facing reports to tell a story and translate technical jargon to simplified information so it is easily understood by the wider teams-
- Good understanding of the Data Science domain, statistical and analytical model development and implementation, proficient in machine learning techniques and related disciplines- Having hands-on experience in data modelling techniques and tools / languages (R, SPSS, SAS, Python) is an advantage- Experience working with Big Data technology stack (HDFS, MapR, NoSQL DB) and Oracle Development Tools (PL/SQL, SQL/TOAD), ETL Tools and other RDBMS is a plus
