Simmonds Steel is a steel fabrication company specialising in mild steel, aluminium and stainless steel, located in Wangara. We are seeking experienced fabricators to join our team in a long term position.

Job consists of fabricating a diverse range including structural, architectural, industrial and fencing and balustrading.

The successful applicant will need:

- Boilermaking, sheet metal trade or experienced 2nd class welders
- Fabrication experience with 3-20mm thick material
- Mild steel and/or stainless and/or aluminium materials
- Read drawings
- Reliable, hard working and motivated
- Attention to detail and high quality of workmanship
- Own transport
- Experience with weld procedures and codes, or willing to learn and develop
- Tig welding experience is an advantage or willing to learn
- Site and rigging experience optional

Good rates and overtime available.

Salary range: $30 to $40 per hour.

Immediate start or willing to wait for the right person.

**Salary**: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
