We work with clients in the defence, infrastructure, mining, quarry, power station, engineering and other critically important industries. Together, we engineer and manufacture tailored solutions to industry-specific materials handling problems.

RUD Chains Pty Ltd is seeking a Trade Qualified Boilermaker (First Class Welder) to start immediately at our structural steel fabrication workshop at Larapinta Qld 4110, that specialises in bespoke engineered material handling products. You would be joining an energetic Production team working in a full time salary position 80-85K + super, Monday to Friday 38hrs per week
- Welding with Materials - Stainless Steel, Mild Steel and Aluminium
- Material Preparation and Metal Works - Fabrication, cutting, grinding, drilling etc.
- Variety of onsite work
- Maintain a clean & organised workshop
- Use a variety of Hand & power tools
- Work unsupervised
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times prioritising safety at all times
- Ability to interpret technical drawing (assembly & sub-assembly process)
- Maintain effective time management skills
- Present a professional & personable aspect onsite as a representative of the company
- Ensuring and undertaking quality checking for quality and compliance requirements
- Be a Trade Qualified First Class Welder or Boilermaker (minimum 2 years’ experience)
- Be competent in MIG welding (carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminium)
- Experience in TIG highly regarded
- Have the ability to work within a team or individually
- Have own transport
- Have the commitment to work safely and reliably
- High Risk Licence (Dogman or forklift) - highly advantageous

**Qualifications**:

- Certificate III, IV in Engineering in Fabrication Trade.
