**About the team**:

**About the role**:
The primary objective of our **CPI (Consumer Price Index) Process Analyst** is to drive cost price management, assess CPI's and develop fact based assessment overviews for Business Category Managers and General Managers to enable robust negotiations. Develop key commodity/category opportunities for Business Units and manage assessments completed by third parties. Build up cost models for key categories and research cost derivers of key products including:

- ** Maximising profitability** by proactively reviewing and assisting BUs to negotiate favorable terms on key commodities with suppliers
- Providing **analytical support to Business Units** to manage COGS

**About you and your skills**:

- Tertiary degree or relevant industry qualifications
- 1-5yrs experience in an analytical and insights role
- Knowledge of Data systems an advantage
- Strong written communication with ability to build relationships with many stakeholders
- Commodity trading, procurement, supplier management experience
- Experience in working with IT, Finance (reporting functions)
- Communicating with and influencing suppliers
- Commercial understanding of cost modelling
- Strong analytical ability. Ability to identify trends
- Effective problem solving, influencing and presentation skills.
