Western Health Medical Imaging (WHMI) provides state-of-the-art comprehensive Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology services to one of the most culturally dynamic and rapidly expanding growth corridors in Australia. WHMI is an accredited member of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR). WHMI operates across 3 of the 4 Western Health campuses located at Western Hospital Footscray, Sunshine/Joan Kirner Hospital and Williamstown Hospital. WHMI services include Computed Tomography (CT), Fluoroscopy, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, Interventional Radiology, Ultrasound and Digital X-ray.

**About the Role**

Western Health Medical Imaging seeks a Consultant Sonologist (as part of the Joan Kirner Women's and Children's Hospital) for 1 day per week (Tuesday) - a day session is equivalent to 8 hours. The role of the Consultant/Specialist is to provide high quality clinical care to the patients and to supervise and train Junior Medical Staff and support Western Health Strategic Priorities. The Sonologist will work within WH Medical Imaging department to perform and report ultrasound scans for patients attending WHMI.

**To be Successful in this Role you**
- Hold Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College Obstetricians & Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG)
- Hold recognised sub-specialist qualifications in Gynaecology and Obstetric Ultrasound, such as the RANZCOG Certificate in Maternal Fetal Medicine (CMFM) or equivalent OR the Certificate of Obstetrics an Gynaecological Ultrasound (COGU) or Diploma of Diagnostic Ultrasound (DDU)
- Hold current registration with AHPRA as Medical Practitioner
