The role

In this role you will demonstrate excellence in client service in the delivery of all catering requirements, ensuring a seamless delivery of service for all meetings and client events. You will ensure the service expectations of internal and external clients consistently meet the recognised service level standard.

This is a full-time permanent opportunity working 5 days per week

This role is 100% office-based.

Key responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for:

- Providing a high standard of food and beverage service, including coffee service/barista and setting up/clearing for functions/meetings in a prompt, professional and friendly manner. This includes breakfasts, morning teas, lunches, afternoon teas, cocktail parties, dinners and VIP functions
- Working occasional morning and evening functions
- Assisting in the inhouse cafe
- Responsible for client meeting rooms to be ready for service
- The opening and closing of the client floor, ensuring all is complete for operations
- General administration e.g. processing tax invoices
- Assist with the cleaning and restocking of the staff hubs
- Assist kitchen staff with various duties including washing dishes
- Other tasks as requested by the Catering Manager

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Certification in Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
- 1-2 years' experience in a hospitality environment (boardroom experience highly desirable)
- Excellent customer service skills
- A high level of organisational skills
- Experience as a barista or favourable coffee skills
- Impeccable grooming standards
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Flexible in working hours when required
- Knowledge of table setting, especially in a fine dining environment (highly desirable)
