**WHO ARE WE?**

We are currently growing our Employment Team and seeking Employment Consultants/Mentors to deliver SLES (School Leaver Employment Support) and Finding and Keeping a job programs. We believe that every person, regardless of their disability, should have the opportunity to engage within the workforce. Our caseload comprises of youths who are about to leave school, youths who have left school and Persons with a Disability (PWD) of all ages.

Applied Abilities is a growing NDIS provider whose Mission is ‘To provide and source meaningful opportunities for our participants to gain social connectivity and employment’ and our Vision ‘is to reduce the impact of social isolation that people with disabilities may be experiencing’.

**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR**:

- **Adaptability and Versatility**. No two days are the same. One day you may be assisting our participants with handing out resumes within the community and the next day, you may be working from home following up on those leads.
- **Tenacity and Outcomes focused** - our role is to assist our participants in finding and keeping a job. As an employment consultant/mentor, we leave no stone unturned in order to create these opportunities.
- **Previous experience** in Disability Employment Services or Job Active contracts, is desired, but not required.
- **A background** in employment services, mentoring or management would be advantageous.
- **Experience working** with Youth and PWD is desired.

**ROLE**:

- Working with Participants to find employment and develop their ‘Job Ready’ skills._

- Community and Employer Engagement
- Organisation of work experience and paid employment opportunities
- In work support (some participants require 8 or more hours of support per week within the workplace)

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: From $40.26 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 38 per week
