**Areas of Responsibility**
- Greet, Seat and Meet Restaurant guests
- Clean, set and re-set restaurant area as per standard
- Assist with bookings and ensure the smooth flow of all customer seating
- Deliver meals, drinks and appropriate crockery, cutlery and glassware to guest
- Remove used crockery, cutlery and all empty glassware and bottles promptly and clear and stack after disposing of rubbish appropriately
- Promptly address or advise the appropriate Supervisor of Customer complaints
- Maintain restaurant, service areas and amenities clean at all times and undertake respective cleaning duties
- Provide high-level assistance to the kitchen staff when required
- Comply with presentation, uniform and hygiene standards at all times
- Assist at the desserts and drinks section
- Effectively and efficiently manage the entire bar flow, as required
- Prepare and present orders as per recipe and standards
- Competently manage the assigned counter section during service
- Undertake all preparation and cleaning tasks as specified
- Perform opening and closing procedures as specified
- Undertake projects and other initiatives as specified or required by the Supervisor
- Check the working order and temperature of all equipment as required
- Comply with presentation, uniform and hygiene standards at all times
- Maintain friendly and professional interaction with all other staff members at all times
- Serve Alcohol (over 18 years, trained staff only)
- Implement organisation’s systems and standards (incl. OH&S)

**Prerequisites**
- Genuine interest in Customer Service
- Well groomed, punctual and professionally presented
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to achieve Sales Target
- Demonstrated attention to detail
- Proven ability to provide leadership to a performing team
- Ability to operate within rigorous systems and high standards
- Experience in a restaurant operation is essential, with some supervisory experience preferred

**Formal desired education**:

- Barista
- Hold current Responsible service of Alcohol training (RSA)

**Job-specific skills, experience, knowledge and abilities**:

- Desirable knowledge and experience:

- Previous food service and kitchen experience
- Certificate 4 in Cookery
- Desirable skills:

- Use of IMPOS point of Sale system

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: From $46,505.92 per year

Expected hours: 20 - 38 per week
