**The Role**:
The IT Vendor Analyst reports to the Manager Operations and is accountable to assist with the operational compliance of the vendor agreements by working with support personnel (internal and external) to ensure support services are in place according to the IT and business requirements.

This role will provide support to the IT Asset Management Lead in relation to the procurement of hardware and software, recording and disposal of IT assets, as well as the Operational Budget Analyst for billing optimisation, purchase order creation and invoice payment.

This will be achieved through:

- Validating invoices with operational teams to ensure charges reflect the services provided.
- Working with operation teams to identify cost saving opportunities in supplier invoices and reporting errors or overcharging.
- Supporting the development and maintenance of standardised offerings.
- Assist with gathering the operational requirements for contract renewals.
- Assist the IT asset management lead with the design, development, implementation and continuous improvement of IT’s asset management processes, framework, management systems, related activities.
- Assist the operational budget analyst with raising purchase orders and receipting invoices.

**Your Skills and Experience**:
To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Experience in using IT Asset Management tools and an understanding of asset lifecycle processes.
- Experience with a CMDB in the recording, reconciliation, planning and data management of IT assets.
- Basic level of commercial acumen and financial management
- Experience in transactional procurement including working with vendors, placing orders and receipt of inventory.

Your excellent communication and relationship building skills across internal and external stakeholders, as well as your ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure will be keys to this role.
