Position Title: Health Services Assistant
Classification: IN37
Salary per hour (exc. super): $27.89
Hours per fortnight: up to 80 hour with an ADO every 4 weeks (multiple positions available)
Employment Status: Ongoing Part Time and Full Time
Other requirements: COVID-19 Vaccination

**Role Description**

The role of the Health Service Assistant at Bendigo Health is to support Registered and Enrolled Nurses by undertaking 1:1 patient assisting with basic patient care under supervision, and non-nursing duties that assist in the smooth running of the ward environments.

**The Team**

The Clinical Operations Division encompasses acute, allied health, cancer and mental health services. We provide a wide range of general medical, surgical and specialty services including but not limited to; Oncology, Cardiology, Renal, Emergency, Women’s and Children’s, Critical Care, Specialist Clinics, Cancer Clinics and Mental Health Services. Our Allied Health teams provide a diverse range of programs and person centred care in inpatient, outpatient, community, home and residential care settings.
