Production Worker

Our Client has been in the business of manufacturing complementary healthcare products for both Australia and overseas since 1995, employing a large local workforce.

We are currently looking for a number of Production Operators for Temp to Perm opportunities within the manufacturing area.

Day Shift
- 7am-3:15pm

Afternoon Shift 3pm-11:15pm

Night Shift 11pm
- 7:15am

Duties of the role will include:

- Set up and operate machinery
- Accurately complete batch card documentation
- Clean and maintain machinery as per training and instructions
- Perform production line "changeovers"
- Complying with Standard Operating Procedures, Work / Shop Floor Instructions and other procedures
- Be able to work as part of a team and/or autonomously
- The ability to strictly adhere to written and verbal instructions
- To be responsible for the quality of your own work

Skills & experience required:

- Previous work experience in a food or FMCG or Pharmaceutical environment (would be advantageous)
- Mechanical aptitude (experience as a machine operator)
- Physically fit, as heavy lifting will be required
- Sound numeracy skills
- Previous exposure to a GMP environment (desirable)
- The ability to read and write English - to follow detailed instructions
- High attention to detail
- Willingness to learn
- Committed, reliable and have a strong work ethic
- Your own reliable transport (Not easily accessible)
