Planning and Heritage Investigations Officer

**Please note**: Due to Machinery of Government changes under Section 30 of the Public Administration Act (PPA), effective 1 January 2023, your employment will be with the Department of Transport and Planning. Corporate Services, including payroll, will be provided by Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action while a process for the formal transfer of staff in impacted areas is implemented.
We have a permanent position available to play a key role within the Planning Implementation and Heritage division.
This role will contribute to compliance of relevant heritage legislative Acts, and will also play a part of enforcement activities in partnership with other enforcement agencies and relevant stakeholders.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
Desirable
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in law, regulatory investigations or compliance or a related discipline and/or Certificate IV or Diploma in Government (Investigation) or equivalent are highly desirable.
Required
- Driver's licence.
This is an ongoing position. The work location for this position is 8 Nicholson Street, East Melbourne with hybrid work arrangements available.
