The FP&A Specialist will work closely with FP&A Manager and Commercial Finance team. The person is expected to drive and deliver allocated budget, forecast and planning tasks, improve processes and deliver actionable insights to drive business performance in the cluster and markets in collaboration with Group FP&A. Group FP&A will own the global planning and budget process, but the role of FP&A is to comply to, add value to, and challenge these processes, to drive stronger global FP&A processes. Thus, the role will play a key role in the cluster ensuring reliable forecasts, solid and ambitious budgets (targets) and ability to strategically plan the business development..

The role requires a combination of strong forecasting/planning/analysis skills, combined with business acumen and commercial finance skills to explain drivers of business performance in the particular cluster.

The key desired outcomes over the next 12 months for the FP&A Specialist:

- Collaborate with cluster departments and play integral role to deliver on annual budget & forecasts submissions
- Prepare and distribute monthly departmental variance analyses and commentary
- Participate in BPR submission
- Prepare quarterly Franchise P&L reports with commentary and seek data collection and process improvement

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**:
Key accountabilities for the FP&A Specialist will constitute a subset of the Cluster Commercial Finance accountabilities on a more detailed level. These are outlined below:
**Budgeting and Forecasting**
- Follow Global guidelines and play important part to deliver Cluster budget and forecast submissions within set timelines
- Guide and support departmental leads in providing relevant information whilst improving data collection processes

**Analysis and commentary**
- Deliver insight and identify key drivers of cluster/market business performance
- Provide insightful monthly commentary and variance analysis to department leads
- Distribute quarterly Franchise P&L including commentary

**Strategic Planning**

Review and challenge OPEX spend to ensure yearly EBIT improvement

**Systems and reporting**
- Work closely with BI team to convert current Excel reports to PowerBI reports
- Maintain and utilise local forecasting tool until Global planning tool roll out

**Responsibility for Revenue/CAPEX/OPEX**:
Joint responsibility with FP&A Manager for Budget, forecasts and latest estimates submissions of margin, OPEX, CAPEX and Balance Sheet

**PIVOTAL AND PERSONAL COMPETENCIES**
- 3- 5 year’s experience in a similar role(s) and responsibility in a global and international organisation
- Bachelor in Finance or similar
- Experience in big 4
- Experience from retail, fashion or FMCG industry preferred but not essential
- Advanced Excel skills and ability to perform analysis on large data sets
- High energy and willingness to drive a cluster and global agenda
- Stakeholder management, business partnering and influencing
- Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills
- Strong and effective communication - verbally and written
