**Role Overview**:
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Sandwich Hand / Catering Assistant to join our team at our production facility in Clayton. This role involves assisting in the preparation of sandwiches and catering products while ensuring that hygiene and quality standards are consistently met.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and assemble sandwiches and other catering items according to company recipes and specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Assist with packaging and labelling products for delivery.
- Monitor stock levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to the supervisor.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time.
- Perform general cleaning tasks, including washing utensils and equipment.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in food preparation or a similar role is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Punctuality and reliability for early morning starts.
- A valid Food Safety Certificate is advantageous but not mandatory.
