Music Teacher

**Full-time, ongoing**

This position requires an educator with experience teaching Music across Years 7-12 (Jazz and Contemporary music knowledge is desirable) to join a department that supports innovative classroom practice and engages with boys in relation to their individual learning requirements and musical ability. Ideally the successful applicant will have an exceptional understanding of current educational pedagogy and an understanding of boys’ educational teaching and learning practices.

The successful applicant will support the ethos of the School, possess excellent teaching and interpersonal skills, will have an exceptional understanding of innovative educational pedagogy and show an understanding of boys’ educational teaching and learning practices.

It is an expectation of the School that all members of staff contribute to the co-curricular program in a way that balances the needs of the School and the successful applicant’s talents and interests.
