**About the role**

The Principal Strategy Officer provides strategic engagement and advocacy across the health sector in relation to abortion care in South Australia. The role intersects with government, non
- government and not for profit stakeholders in promoting safe, quality access to abortion care for women and pregnant people. With a focus on public health outcomes, the role will provide appropriate representation regarding abortion care, supporting implementation of legislative change and working to reduce stigma of abortion care in our community. The role will undertake significant work in advocacy, development of policies and / or interpretation, review and implementation of policy instructions, working in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary clinical team to develop operational plans for the provision of safe and effective abortion care.

**Essential Requirements**

Current National Police Clearance (NPC)
