The position formulates, coordinates and supports multidisciplinary case management strategies for individuals at risk of radicalising to violent extremism. This involves engaging vulnerable individuals and their families, building trust and understanding between law enforcement, clinical and community stakeholders and providing professional services and advice.

**The core capability requirements for this role are**:

- Administer evidence-based assessment tools to prioritise, design, monitor & evaluate intervention case management of security persons of interest (POI) using structured professional judgement. Engage security POIs, families and multidisciplinary stakeholders to perform risk assessment, case formulation, intervention management and evaluation functions through a variety of means including face to face interaction. Foster, facilitate and monitor multi-disciplinary approaches to clinical case formulation, intervention case management and ongoing case coordination through the formation & maintenance of interagency relationships, liaison and case conferencing. Identify and facilitate appropriate multidisciplinary responses to risk with relevant internal and interagency stakeholders as required. Maintain accurate records of case notes & documentation, meeting minutes and multidisciplinary case management activities to enhance operational reporting and ensure legal, clinical & human rights compliance. Provide managerial advice regarding multi-disciplinary approaches to clinical case formulation, intervention case management and ongoing case coordination to contribute to interventions and the management of individuals who may be a risk to the Australian community. Undertake continuous clinical education and training as part of an ongoing individual professional development plan.

Role Requirements
Mandatory
- Possession of a current C class driver's licence. Possession of/willingness to obtain a Negative Vetting Level 1 security clearance. Passing of or willingness to undergo preliminary and regular psychometric assessment at management discretion.

Qualification
- Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Criminology, Social Work or a related allied health discipline and possession of post graduate qualifications (or significant progress towards post graduate qualifications) in the relevant area.

Technical/ Operational/ Educational experience
- This position involves driving of police vehicles. Duties may involve weekend and shift work. Shift penalties and overtime may apply.Occasional inter and intra state travel is a requirement of this position.Applicants are advised that whilst performing the duties of the position, they may be exposed to material (written, visual and audio) of a graphic and sensitive nature that may include sexually explicit content.
