**The Opportunity**
We have an opportunity for a Plant & Logistics Allocator/Administrator to join our team.
Ferrycarrig has a growing blue-collar workforce who operate over 150 items of plant, requiring both staff and plant to be inducted, onboarded, checked for compliance and operate in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
The Plant & Logistics Allocator/Administrator will assist the business allocations team in forward planning and resource allocations.
**Key duties of the role**:
The successful applicant will be a team player with the ability to learn quickly, keep up in a fast-paced role, have excellent communication and time management skills and demonstrate a high level of attention to detail.
Assisting and supporting the following tasks:

- Administration and insurance management to ensure compliance to Chain of Responsibility from a competency, fatigue, and journey planning perspective
- Dealing with day-to-day site and logistic requests to ensure they are acted on in the most efficient method and that journey time and repeat journeys are identified ahead of time to reduce costs
- Liaising on a daily basis with allocations manager and plant manager to ensure the efficient running of the plant and operations teams
- Plant uploaded to Assignar, pre starts completed and updated, applying/renewing for registrations at Service NSW, renewing plant insurances, ensuring assets are operating and available to continue in the fleet
- Monitor and manage fines and other traffic related incidents
- Maintaining the Teletrac for all plant, ensuring plant is aligned correctly with the work site in order provide accurate charges, reports, assets updates and allocation of drivers
- Plant reports completed and shared each week in accordance with operations meetings
- Complete monthly run reports, cost analysis, journals etc., reviewing department spend each month and journaling to projects/sites
- Assisting with the management of procurement

**About You**
- Strong administrative skills
- Hire and plant allocation experience is a must
- Knowledge of construction industry HSEQ requirements, standard operating procedures and industry competency requirements
- Deadline driven with the ability to perform multiple tasks, prioritise and manage multiple projects
- Analytic thinker who holds a strong personality and ability to problem solve whilst also thinking outside the box
- A strong communicator with effective interpersonal skills
- Accurate and attentive to detail
- Interested in learning new skills with a can-do attitude towards your work
