**About the Opportunity**

As the Building Services & Operations Supervisor this role is to provide operational, technical and administration support to the Facilities Manager, to manage the day-to-day building operational requirements for RACV’s operationally crucial offices in the Melbourne central business district and prestigious RACV City Club.

In managing these facilities, this role manages risk and building compliance, minor capital works and the maintenance of the premises, services, and equipment.

The role also provides onsite support to the technical staff on site and contractors to ensure that the occupants and tenants' business is well supported whilst managing Stakeholder expectations

Key responsibilities of the role:

- Manage building compliance and preventative maintenance schedules for the buildings
- Reactive Maintenance requests to be investigated and resolved in a timely manner
- Undertaking regular site inspections, ensuring the properties are maintained to a high standard, identifying maintenance issues and areas of improvement in the properties appearance, and ensuring these issues are rectified in a timely manner.
- Contractor management on site including engagement, induction, risk assessment and permits
- Scope and manage minor Capital works projects
- Financial management relevant to the role including invoice processing, purchase order raising and monthly management of Reactive Maintenance spend
- Organise and manage all Emergency training sessions for the building
- Assist with the management of the day-to-day operational security requirements
- Develop and maintain effective internal and external relationships with key stakeholders, authorities and contractors.
- Promote understanding of safe work practices and assist with incident/accident investigations
- Support the front of house reception team including mentoring and coverage in times when required
- Be available via phone for after-hours emergency escalations

**What you’ll need to be successful**

**Essential**
- A current driver’s licence

**Experience**
- At least 5 years’ experience in building operations and/or facilities management
- Experience in contractor management including engagement, induction risk management and permits.
- Experience in building compliance management.
- Experience in Facilities Emergency Management.
- Experience working within a multi-disciplined team
- High level stakeholder management and communication skills

**Desirable**
- Diploma of Facility Management (or equivalent)
- Qualifications/training in Occupational Health and Safety
- Qualifications in electrical or mechanical engineering discipline
- Risk management
- SAP training
