Head of Accelerated Growth

**The opportunity**

As the Head of Accelerated Growth - you will be accountable for the design of disruptive propositions to drive accelerated growth, maximining reach in market and targeting customers that do not resonate with Bupa’s existing propositions. This will involve the assessment and execution of complex, high impact experiments that require elevated degrees of structured thinking, strategic rigour and quantitative validation.
Bringing thought leadership and influence across the Enterprise to drive innovation and bring new propositions to market, championing a test and learn approach and to scale propositions that resonate in market.

**How will I help?**
- Build direct team to scale in line with success of propositions in market to capitalise on the opportunity and ensure active management.
- Translate commercial performance aspirations into alternative HI propositions including identifying channel/distribution strategy.
- Identify, evaluate, validate and pilot alternative models for growth, using a test and learn and customer first approach.
- Ensure customer strategies and propositions evolve to meet the changing market, including competitor, regulatory and market developments, and customer demands to remain fit for purpose for Health Insurance
- Lead expertise and insights relating to market developments and competitor activity across an array of dimensions that may impact Bupa’s sustainable competitive advantage.
- Drive a culture of high performance to ensure we are focused on the right metrics to deliver our aspiration for future growth both within PHI and other categories

**What do I need?**
- Tertiary qualifications in business, marketing or related disciplines are preferred
- Experience at a senior leadership level with a track-record of delivering effective solutions in a large and complex organisation
- P&L management including at a start
- up or in an emerging business
- Direct experience in leading the development and implementation of strategies to deliver commercial outcomes
- Ability to solve complex problems and develop solutions in consultation with others, including expert professionals
- Expertise in Australian healthcare legislative and regulatory environment and the impact of these upon product policy and strategy.
