***POSITION OVERVIEW**
**The Site Supervisor assumes a pivotal role in Hickory’s construction operations, overseeing critical facets that collectively contribute to a secure, efficient and compliant construction environment. **RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Manage Daily Site Programming: Oversee the execution of daily site work in alignment with the Hickory construction program.
- Collaborative Project Oversight: Work closely with the Site Manager, Project Manager, Project Coordinator, and project team to plan and continually assess project progress.
- Resource Optimization: Efficiently manage site resources, including labor, machinery, materials, and subcontractors, to ensure timely project completion.
- Equipment Accountability: Ensure the prompt return of all hired-in equipment upon task completion.
- Documentation Management: Expedite the delivery of relevant documents from clients or authorities to the Project Manager.
- Variation Identification: Identify and document any potential contract variations, promptly notifying the Project Manager or Construction Manager.
- Quality Control: Enforce Hickory’s quality control systems among site staff.
- Safety Compliance: Monitor site safety compliance, ensuring the use of appropriate safety equipment and promptly reporting unsafe conditions to the HSEQ Manager or Safety Representative.
- Team Development: Provide coaching and mentorship to direct reports to foster their professional growth.
- Delegation and Communication: Delegate tasks effectively to direct reports, ensuring clear communication for successful task execution.
- Industrial Harmony: Take necessary measures to maintain a harmonious working environment on site at all times.
- Training Participation: Actively engage in on-the-job training to support the development of team members.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Extensive Commercial Construction Background: A minimum of 5 years’ hands-on experience in the commercial construction industry.
- Relevant Academic Qualifications: Possession of a degree in Building and Construction or a related field.
- Exceptional Time Management: Proficient time management skills to ensure efficient project execution.
- Negotiation and Relationship Expertise: Strong abilities in negotiation and the establishment of meaningful professional relationships.
- Outstanding Communication and Leadership: Excellent verbal and written communication skills coupled with strong leadership capabilities.
- Proven Problem-Solving Aptitude: Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve complex challenges effectively.
