Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate day-to-day operations of harvesting and roading activities.

Promote a strong safety culture and environmental compliance.

Foster strong relationships with harvesting and roading contractors

Work closely with managers, supervisors, and contractors to ensure planning and budget targets are met.

Oversee harvest, value recovery, and roading operations planning and supervision.

Manage haulage operations, mapping, and stakeholder consultation.

Ensure operations comply with company safety management systems and conduct safety audits.

Assist in developing Timber Harvest Plans and Harvesting Schedules

Monitor and report on production levels, log mix, quality performance, yield, and value recovery.

Develop Operations plans for all roading operations and liaise with local government on road issues.

Assist in updating the company’s GIS and develop operational maps for harvesting, roading, and rehabilitation plans.

Undertake fire-fighting activities and fire roster duties during fire season.

**Requirements**:
Proven experience in harvesting forestry, value recovery, and roading operations

Strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Ability to work closely with managers, supervisors, and contractors.

Knowledge of GIS systems and mapping tools

Familiarity with local government and regulatory requirements
