We seek a full-time experienced Trade qualified Joiner in our European Timber Windows & Doors manufacturing business in Airport West, Victoria, Australia.

You must have at least four years of experience (post Apprenticeship) in the solid timber joinery Trade, with excellent attention to detail and pride in your work. In particular, experience making European standard timber windows, doors and curtain wall systems will be highly regarded.

You must already be in Australia, and able to attend an interview in Melbourne.

Your duties will include:

- preparing timber (drying and fault checking), stacking and sorting.
- machining of timber (setting up jointer, thicknesser, 4-sider moulder for sizing, shaping and detailing).
- morticing, tenoning and profiling of timber for windows and doors.
- gluing, assembling and clamping window and door joinery.
- preparing and finishing windows and doors (sanding, painting and staining).
- fitting and fixing hardware (drilling and fitting door hinges, door locks, & hinges, window hardware, seals and fault inspection).
- installing window and doors on site (preparing openings, fitting, sealing and finishing).
- factory glaze our timber windows and doors with double and triple glazed insulated units.
- operating a range of industrial woodworking equipment, such as docking saws, Weinig 4-sided moulders, SCM planer, thicknesser, SCM CNC spindle moulder, Weinig and SCM tenoning and profiling machines, sanding machines and clamping presses.
- using a variety of hand tools to finish, assemble and install European standard timber windows and doors.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
