**The Role**
The Portfolio Management Branch (PMB) remit is to simplify, optimise, and standardise financial and strategic workforce requirements for a multi-billion dollar ICT portfolio within the Defence Digital Group (DDG). We are looking for an energetic APS 6 budget officer to join the team.
Your key responsibilities will be:

- Respond to requests for financial reporting and budget analysis.
- Develop high-value dashboards and written financial reporting.
- Provide advice and budgeting assistance to large ICT projects.
- Research and draft budget submissions, budget briefings, presentations, and other financial reporting.
- Be a team player.

- Be comfortable working in fast paced environments with competing priorities, including preparing briefing packs senior leaders.

- Have experience in budget management, focusing on projects.
