**What is the job?**
The moment a guest steps into one of our hotels, they walk into a genuinely memorable experience. As a Senior Concierge, you’ll lead the team to respond to guest requests and enquiries to ensure complete guest satisfaction.
You'll also be a brand ambassador and develop great working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
**A little taste of your day-to-day**:
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
- Supervising the day-to-day operations of the concierge desk, including managing guest requests, luggage assistance, transportation arrangements, and tour bookings.
- Support any needs at the desk or door while ensuring the lobby looks great.
- Support other areas of Front Office Department as needed to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Contribute to hotel revenues -e.g. through tour and transportation bookings.
- Promote the hotel’s other businesses such as F&B at every opportune moment.
- Deliver a memorable experience to guests with a swift and personal service -not forgetting to recognise and record guest preferences.
- Resolve guest issues and use their feedback to improve guest satisfaction
**What we need from you**:
- At least two years‘ experience in an upscale hotel / equivalent environment as a Concierge or related role
- At least one years’ supervisory experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Fluent English is essential, any additional other languages would be great
- It’s a physical role and you’ll be on your feet most of the day, so fitness is important.
- Strength -with occasional lifting of items up to 23 kilograms and or push/pulling heavy objects
- Local knowledge and experience are an advantage
- Your problem-solving skills will turn issues into opportunities so every guest leave with great memories.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and efficiently.
- A customer-focused mindset with the ability to anticipate guest needs
- A full Australian Driver’s Licence(manual) and excellent driving skills
