We are seeking an HR Advisor to support our newly formed Geoscience business within the Surface Division's OreBody Solutions. This new area combines three recent acquisitions, Kinetic Logging Services, Corescan and Schramm, as part of our mission to become an end-to-end system integrator in open-pit mining.
As an HR Advisor, your mission is to ensure the team has the right talent, development, and support the complany's growth. You'll provide guidance across various HR functions, such as talent acquisition, performance management, and employee relations, etc.
This is a fixed-term maternity cover position until January 2026.
**Primary Purpose of Role**:
The HR Advisor Geoscience is responsible for providing comprehensive HR services. This role involves end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and strategic HR initiatives to ensure a productive and engaging workplace.
**Duties & Responsibilities**:
**Talent Acquisition**:
Lead full recruitment processes for blue
**Onboarding/Offboarding**:
Coordinate onboarding and offboarding, manage documentation, facilitate orientation, and ensure smooth transitions.
**Payroll**:
Process remuneration changes, review payroll audits, and manage termination paperwork.
**Employment Relations**:
Ensure compliance with employment legislation, manage awards, entitlements, and performance reviews.
**Compensation & Benefits**:
Manage salary adjustments, conduct benchmarking, and assist with annual reviews.
**Grievance Management**:
Conduct workplace investigations, manage disciplinary actions, and terminations.
**Training & Development**:
Identify training needs, ensure certifications are up-to-date, and support career progression.
**HR Strategy & Projects**:
Contribute to HR policy development and participate in restructuring and salary range projects.
**Leadership Coaching**:
Support team performance and conflict resolution.
**HR Data Analysis & Reporting**:
Analyze HR data, compile reports, and support informed decision-making.
**Employee Engagement**:
Develop and implement engagement strategies, including surveys and talent reviews.
**Qualifications**:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
