**About the role**

We are looking for a Superintendent - Mine Technical Services to join our Mine Technical Services Team in Perth, Western Australia. You’ll be leading a high performing team of multi-disciplined professionals at one of our major iron ore operations in the Pilbara. This role is well suited to someone that is a dynamic leader with an exemplary record in safety leadership and a passion developing positive team culture with a focus on fostering career development and career progression.

You’ll be part of a culturally diverse team, supported by your Leader to grow and achieve your personal career aspirations as well as the goals of the wider team. You’ll be working in the West Australia Pilbara region on an 5 work day; 2 days off; 4 work day; 3 days off roster, which will give you more time to spend on the things that are important to you and the people in your life.

Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, you’ll be:

- Mining engineering: support mine production and integrated planning, including daily, short term and medium-term production planning
- Drill and blast planning, scheduling, and technical support to mine operations
- Mine surveying services to support planning and mine production
- Mine geology and grade control
- Hydrogeology monitoring to support WRES and mine dewatering teams
- Geotechnical engineering to manage and mitigate geotechnical risk related to the mining operations.
