Facade Drafter

An experienced Facade Drafter is required to join a proudly Australian-owned engineering consultancy based in their busy Sydney office.

They offer the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects including age-care, commercial, education, hospitals, industrial and residential buildings.

Due to continued growth, major project wins and a secure pipeline of work, their growing facade team in Sydney is looking for an enthusiastic Draftsperson to join the team. You will be joining an industry-leading team and will have the opportunity to contribute to wide-ranging, technically challenging projects.

**To be successful in the role, you will ideally have**:

- 2 -5+ years' facade drafting experience
- Proficient in 2D/3D Drafting in AutoCAD & Façade Systems Designs
- Preparation of shop drawings of different cladding systems including Curtainwall, Window & Door, External Cladding & metal cladding
- Assisting Facade Engineers in finalizing their designs by creating plans, elevations and section details.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Enthusiasm coupled with a passion for the facade industry.
- Strong interpersonal skills and be able to communicate and work with engineers, designers, architects.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Proven track record of working to tight deadlines and within budget.
- Be enthusiastic and committed to facilitating client needs.
