Murrumba State Secondary College is located in a beautiful part of Brisbane's northern suburbs, with easy access to the thriving Brisbane City, the relaxing foreshores of Moreton Bay or the endless beaches of the Sunshine Coast.
The College opened in 2012 and has rapidly become the school of first choice in the Murrumba Downs area. Our College features world class learning programs, delivered in impressive and expansive new facilities, and a wide range of innovative learning technologies. One of our lighthouse programs of excellence is the High Performance Music Program (HPM). This program, running from Year 7 -10, allows students with musical talents to immerse themselves fully in their passion. It provides a pathway through senior music and beyond with links to post-secondary opportunities. With strong links to the HPM, Instrumental Musci (IM) is a critical of this program, providing further extension opportunities for performance through a variety bands and ensembles. Murrumba prides itself on providing students with a range of high quality musical opportunities through live performances, competitions and tours.

- Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration, as a teacher in Queensland. Pre-service/graduate teachers must have been granted provisional registration prior to commencing employment as a teacher. For more information regarding registration requirements, please CLICK HERE.
- In addition to registration, teachers working in Education and Care Services (including State Delivered Kindergarten programs) require an exemption card issued by Blue Card Services. For more information on blue cards and exemption cards, please CLICK HERE.
