**About the Role**
As a Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the marketing and occupancy plan for the University Colleges and Residential Life Portfolio. You will work and coordinate with a variety of stakeholders effectively to ensure t the University’s accommodation occupancy targets are met.

Reporting to the Associate Director, Student Marketing Communications, you will work closely with the University Communications and Marketing team, the University Colleges and Residential Life team and external contractors to identify priorities and deliver integrated marketing activities that align with our strategic goals. Our team is a very supportive and dynamic team, and you will have the opportunity to work with other marketing professionals on a range of university projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Coordinate activities and events to increase awareness of accommodation options amongst current and prospective students
- Develop content for marketing campaigns, online and print publications and the web to promote our student accommodation options, including communications and EDMs that align with student recruitment and student service strategies
- Ensure that communications, social media and web information and promotional activities assist the University to meet its contractual obligations with partner organisations
- Undertake analysis of student insights, student survey data and marketing effectiveness information to inform decisions

**Who we are looking for**
To be successful, you will need to have a proven track record of making high-level decisions and delivering exceptional customer service. You will also have strong verbal and written communication skills that enable you to establish and maintain relationships with multiple stakeholders. Your ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, coupled with a creative thinking mindset, will be key to your success in this role.

You will also have:

- Demonstrated work experience within relevant marketing and communications field and tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, business or a related discipline or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training
- Demonstrated successful delivery of marketing communications activities within a large and complex organisation
- Experience in integrated marketing communications, content development and execution strategies, including digital media platforms
- Works to a high ethical standard, ensuring professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
