Leading Hand role.
- Commercial & Industrial Construction and Refurbishments
- South Sydney location

**Leading Hand opportunity with a National commercial and industrial construction company.**

**Office is located within the South Sydney.**

**The job;**
- Managing and coordinating day labour and subcontractors.
- Keeping accurate records, e.g. timesheets, work variations etc.
- Ensure that all material and equipment is on site in time and suitable to the projects requirements.
- Maintain professional relationships with labourers and subcontractors.
- Attend toolbox meetings
- Maintain site registers, diaries including progression photos. As well as timesheets.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with current standards & codes.
- Assist in compliance of site safety, workplace injuries, workers comp legislation, regulations, standards and codes.
- Maintaining safety records and safety documentation.
- Identify and assessing hazards and controlling safety risks.

**Experience;**
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in a construction related field.
- Experience in managing sites (ideally, commercial, retail, residential and industrial construction.)
- Ability to read and understand drawings and documentation.
- Experience in Microsoft Office, knowledge of Excel and Microsoft project is an advantage.
- Local Australian experience is essential
- Knowledge of Australian building standards
- Construction Industry Induction cardholder
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to achieve results within schedule.
- Proactive in bettering site safety standards.
- Strong work ethic

Salary from $90k - $130 + super (experience based)
