AmSpec is a market leader in independent inspection, testing, verification and specialized technical services to the Oil, Gas and Chemical sector (exploration, production, refining, storage, transportation) and to the Marine, Minerals and Agricultural sectors.
**We have positions available in Perth and Sydney and welcome applicants with a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience to apply.**
These diverse full-time positions will require occasional travel to remote areas and other locations and will require working some flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
**Specific role responsibilities**:
- Inspect and test vessel cargo including but not limited to fuel products
- Calculate and report quantities
- Accurately complete all required reports and forms for each appointment and communicate
effectively with customer representatives
- Provide written and verbal updates to customer representatives
- Assist and supervise crew during mooring and unmooring operations
- Assist and supervise cargo loading hose connection and disconnection
- Work in cooperation with customer representatives, Customs, vessel personnel, government
agents and shore facility personnel
- Maintain knowledge and adhere to the latest industry and client procedures and standards
as provided by the company
**Essential Requirements**:
- Minimum 2 years’ position relevant experience
- Experience in the Oil, Gas and Chemical industry
- Working knowledge of oil terminals and storage facilities
- Must be an Australian citizen or demonstrate the right to live and work in Australia
- Must have a valid Australian Driver’s License
- Valid Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC), or ability to obtain
of Inspection Agencies) as a condition of employment.

**Salary**: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
