**Position Purpose**:

**Essential Criteria**:

**Specific Responsibilities**:

- Ensure all guest rooms are cleaned and prepared to the highest possible standard
- Ensure public areas are cleaned and prepared to the highest possible standard
- Ensure a proactive approach is adopted to cleanliness and maintenance of the hotel
- Attend to guest enquires in helpful and efficient manner
- Ensure correct handling and use of cleaning materials, include correct PPE
- Prompt & diplomatic handling of guest complaints ensuring corrective measures are taken to prevent re-occurrence of similar complaints and these are recorded
- Have a full understanding of the hotels WHS & emergency procedures
- Ensure all WHS incidents are reported to your supervisor
- Ensure you arrive for your shift on time, well presented and ready to work
- Maintain your uniform to the highest possible standard
- Ensure work areas are kept clean & organised, well stocked with supplies and equipment is maintained
- Ensure all relevant duties/tasks are completed

**Human Resource Responsibilities**
- Undertakes training as required
- Follows company policies and procedures

**Workplace Health and Safety Responsibilities**
- Champion the identification and reporting of hazards, evaluation of risks, and design and implementation of hazard and control measures.
- Assist with company’s WHS obligations
- Facilitate the reporting and investigation of injuries and illnesses arising from workplace activities, recommending corrective actions to prevent or minimise the chance of recurrence.

**KPI’s**:

- # Cleanliness exceptions per month
- # Unauthorised absences from work per annum
- # Time allocation exceptions per month

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

**Salary**: $40,660.00 - $65,000.00 per year
