**Your new role**

Do you have a passion for making a positive difference to people, communities and the environment? Can you do this by working with partners to successfully secure the funding required by this ambition? If so, we want you to lead these efforts as the Head of Advancement for the Faculty of Business and Law.

**In this role, you'll be responsible for**:

- Establishing and leading a comprehensive Advancement program and culture within the Faculty to deliver year-on-year increases in philanthropic and corporate support, while adhering to best practices for fundraising and stewardship of donors and sponsors.
- Liaising with Faculty members to ensure all efforts are aligned with priorities in teaching and learning, the student experience, research, and community engagement.
- Building a high-performing Advancement team within the Faculty.

As a key member of our University Advancement team, you'll have the opportunity to work collaboratively with a broad and diverse range of professionals in a supportive and collegial culture.

**We are seeking**:

- A highly motivated and experienced individual who possesses strong communication skills, is a strategic thinker, entrepreneurial, and is results-driven.
- A relationship expert who loves a challenge and thrives in a dynamic and fast-moving environment.
- Someone with a deep understanding of the University experience, who also similarly has a strong background in fundraising and business development.

This role would be well suited for Advancement professionals in Australia, as well as business development professionals (typically in sales and marketing) who are interested in working in a senior position at a university and have a passion to change the world through research and education.

As this is a continuing (permanent) role, you will require permanent work rights in Australia to be considered.
