Civil Construction Labourer

Immediate start positions for experienced Civil Labourers - North/Eastern suburbs.
- $45 per hour (Hourly rate negotiable depending on experience)
- Time and a half and double-time rates paid for overtime.
- 8 month project, consistent ongoing work, 5-6 days a week

We are currently looking for experienced civil Labourers to assist on projects throughout Melbourne's North/Eastern Suburbs; Donnybrook, Kalkallo & Ferntree Gully
**ON OFFER**:
- $45 per hour + super + coinvest
- Meal allowance included (over 9.5 hours on a shift)
- Additional Travel allowance ($20.32 per day)
- Time and a half and double-time rates paid for overtime
- 8 month project
**ROLE DUTIES**:
You’ll be machine operating as well as labouring using a variety of tools. You will be constructing temporary pavements, running conduits and agricultural drains into pavements as well as doing road boxing and basic landscaping
**THE OPPORTUNITIES**
This is a great opportunity to work alongside a large Civil Team and work in multiple areas.
We can keep experienced and reliable labourers busy 5-6 days a week with on-going work.
**Key requirements needed to apply**:
- Understand how to install environmental controls
- Silt Fencing
- Silt Socks
- Maintain NGZ’s around trees
- Understand how to make a site safe and what a safe site looks like
- Flagging, bollards, placement of water barriers, etc.
- Has the following tickets. Minimum 12 months experience in ticketed area preferred:
- Roller
- Water Truck [HR]
- Spotter
- Loader/Backhoe
- Manual license preferred
- Any other tickets are bonuses: excavator, skid steer, dogman, confined space, etc.
- The process to construct temporary pavements
- The process to undertake demolition safely
- The process to install new conduits
- The process to service prove and protect.
