Our Burwood practice now has a fabulous opportunity for an energetic, bright and professional **Dental Assistant** to join our busy practice. This is a **part-time/casual position working 2-3 days per week** (Monday (critical), Tuesday and potentially Wednesday).

**Dental Assisting duties**:

- Clinical chair side assisting for a variety of dental procedures when required;
- Preparing treatment rooms for daily procedures including cleaning and changeover of instrumentation, maintaining appropriate supplies and ordering when required;
- Learning all aspects of sterilization;
- Occasional reception duties**:

- **meeting and greeting patients, promoting payment plans and regular recall cycles when required;
**Our new team member will have**:

- Experience in Dental Assisting (Certificate III ideal but not essential);
- The right attitude and a thirst for knowledge
- An energetic approach to keep pace with our Dentists;
- A passion for the dental industry and patient care;
- Be reliable and have a great work ethic;
- Possess high empathy and a patient centric approach;
- A flexible and a positive attitude to fit in with the Practice operations and team;
- Be able to handle pressure and multi-task;
- A warm friendly personality and build relationships easily.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: One location
